Auto Expo 2012 New Delhi Suzuki Motorcycles

Intruder M1800 dominated the Suzuki Motorcycles Stall at Auto Expo 2012 at New Delhi. Yes it also dominated the great Hayabusa. I bet Intruder can dwarf any Cruiser excluding Honda Rune that is not in production now. Below are some pictures of Suzuki Intruder M1800, M800 and Hayabusa

Harley Davidson At Auto Expo 2012 New Delhi

The most impressive Motorcycle stall at Auto Expo 2012 was Hayley Davidson. They Showcased some of the most beautiful custom motorcycles there from all their major models. Below are some of the pictures I clicked there.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500

Thunderbird is the new offering from Royal Enfield. It is all about the cosmetic changes and nothing new as far as the engine is concerned. Its time RE should upgrade their engine with more BHPs and Tourque.

New all Black Engine looks good.

Same old specs of 500 cc RE mill

Nice new headlamp

2010 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive: Gorgeous Than You Can Dream And Powerful Than You Can Imagine

It’s so gorgeous that I bet you can’t take your eyes off it. The elegant and trendy Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive has all what it takes to beat every other scooter in its class. Features like electronically adjustable windshield, Antilock Braking System, and a comfortable seat take you around those long rides across the hills and forests.

Suzuki Burgman 650 has a liquid-cooled, 638cc, DOHC, 8-valve, twin-cylinder engine which is biggest and most powerful in its class when combined with a revolutionary fuel injection system with 32-bit ECM is capable in getting you through anything with a lowest fuel consumption and emission. The engine is smooth and quiet, thanks to the futuristic Suzuki Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (SECVTTM). There are virtually no engine vibrations because of the dual gear-driven countershaft system. Stainless steel exhausts system, a chrome muffler end-cap, electronically-controlled windshield and an electric starting system with maintenance-free battery makes it unbeatable on the road.

Suzuki Burgman 650 is equipped with dual multi-reflector headlights, flush-mounted front turn signals retractable side mirrors, five-spoke aluminum wheels with radial tires, dual ABS assisted front disc brake with rear ABS assisted disc brake with a rear brake parking system and heated grips. Apart from this to provide the riders with additional smoothness while riding Suzuki Burgman is fitted with twin preload adjustable shock absorbers and a dedicated aluminum swingarm that allows optimum engine placement and forward weight distribution

Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive is clearly the best in its class and virtually nothing comes close to it when it comes to style and performance.

Triumph Thunderbird

Great road presence and more masculinity than any other cruiser I have ever seen, Triumph THUNDERBIRD is indeed living up to its name, THUNDERBIRD. Voted Cruiser of the Year’ by top US magazine Cycle World, it had established Triumph supremacy in motorcycle manufacturing once again across the globe. With graceful handling and immaculate engineering it’s probably one of the finest cruisers mass produced and has established Triumph in the league of Top cruiser motorcycle producing companies.

An all new parallel-twin 1600cc mill that churns out an impressive 85 horses of pure power coupled with great fuel economy. It’s blisteringly quick and had an impressive 146Nm torque at very low revs. Triumph also offers a 1700cc big bore dealer fit kit to enhance its power to 100 horses and a torque of 165 Nm to take the performance and power of this mighty cruiser to the next level.

Its Triumphs first belt drive since 1922 which effectively transform all the torque into unadulterated power. Gear shifts are ultra smooth, especially the sixth one which will make you feel like a God on the road when you will float smoothly with those divine cruiser thumps.

Braking response is quick and brings the cruiser to a halt with an absolute smooth in no time. For those who want to be more in control an option of ABS is also available. Super supple suspension provides that much needed comfort on the highways when you are together with nature and don’t want to be disturbed.

Beautiful and informative chrome instrument fitted on fuel tank provide all the needed information to the rider. The tank has a Thunderbird logo, large speedometer, integrated tachometer, two trip meters and fuel gauge. It has the lowest seating position in its class (just 700mm off the ground). Available in the UK at £10,199 OTR standard and £10,799 OTR for ABS version, and you need to shell out additional £295 for twin color option.

My Sincere Thanks To Triumph for Pictures

2009 Moto Guzzi Café Classic: A Modern Classic

It seems I am getting obsessed with Café Racers, first Royal Enfield, then Triumph Thruxton and now Moto Guzzi Café Classic V7.Amongst the first mass produced motorcycles to run at 124mph in 1970s, Moto Guzzi V7 Sport has its share of history when it comes to motorcycling. Wrapped in a radiant paint and pure café racing sporty styling Moto Guzzi launched its V7 Café Classic in 2009.

A 744cc OHV, air-cooled, 90-degree V-twin engine producing 49bhp of power output and a thrilling top speed of approximately 115mph, it’s a stunning display of speed and beauty. Moto Guzzi Café Classic V7 has a beautifully crafted fuel tank with a nice chrome filler cap and a gorgeous bum-stop seat. I will not say that it’s blisteringly fast but the speed is enough to give thrills to any Café Racer enthusiast.

Its Weber-Marelli electronic fuel injection provides a decent economy while front brake, a floating 320 mm stainless steel disc and rear a 260 mm stainless steel disc, do a good job to bring this classy Moto Guzzi Café Classic to a quick stop. A Marzocchi telescopic front forks and light alloy swingarm with 2 pre-load adjustable shock absorbers are just fantastic.

It’s a true stunner of a Café Racer and packs enough punch to give that thrill of hopping between Cafés of Rome

Ever since I have written about Royal Enfield Bullet Café Racer, I was wondering… rather doubting if there is any motorcycle manufacturing company in the world which can create a modern classic. I got up in the morning switched on my computer and I don’t know why just went on to Triumph website.
